Electric Car Fuel Stations

Electric car fuel stations funded

San Diego County will get a network of charging stations for electric cars as part of a $2.4 billion program that President Barack Obama announced yesterday to promote green transportation. The funding backs up a plan by San Diego Gas & Electric Co. And Nissan to introduce an electric car in the region next year. Ref. Source 6

I do not know how these electric"fuel" stations will work. Do they have a very rapid charge for your cars batteries? How long will the average person have to sit there as they wait for their car to recharge?
