So as to not get credit for anything I didn't really do, thanks Pers, but I was only resending my last donation that for some reason didn't actually arrive as planned. So, this isn't a new donation.

My father is physically capable of living alone, but I don't know about emotionally. I am not sure he has ever lived totally alone before. I imagine he will be lonely for a while. He does have an active interest in golf and is a member of the local golf course where he sits on the board of directors so that should give him some social outlet at least. I will keep a close watch on him for a while, as well. I think he will likely move to Florida at least for the winters, if not this year, certainly by next.

I am doing o.k. It has been hard emotionally. I feel like I have lost some of my innocence you know. I mean, we always know that our parents will die one day, but it never really seems real. Now that one has, the loss of the others really has been driven home to me. I am really scared right now. I mean my father is just as healthy as he was two weeks ago, but now I fear for him everyday. I know I am not ready to lose my father (or my mother). I know it will hurt much more than this did/does and I don't know how I will survive it. Of course, I will just like everyone else does, but right now I guess I am "gun shy."

Thanks. My grandson really is a cutie. I agree he has the most incredible eyes. You should see them in person. Yes, he is also quite mischevious. Takes after grandma there. Felipe is quite a cutie too.
