I am feeling better, but not quite "well." Thanks. Yes, too much nice food. The good news is, I don't need to worry about gaining weight from all the food I ate on Christmas day since none of it stayed with me. :-->

Hey Tena how are the Pats doing this season? I haven't been able to catch many of the games lately and my uncle was telling me over the weekend that the Pats were lookin at possibly hitting the Superbowl again. Which I think would be total coolness if they did.

They have done unbelieveably. They ended the season 14-2. Won their last 12 in row. Both of these statistics are franchise records. They get a by this week and play the lowest seed team left in the playoffs next week. They have home field advantage from now right up until the superbowl for as long as they remain!

All I can say is: Woohoo! I hope they make it to the Superbowl again! I hope they keep playing as well as I have been hearing. I do know when I get back up that way towards, Rhode Island, I definitely have to find a Pats ball hat to go with my only t-shirt I've got left (and my friend sent me that one from the last time they went to the Superbowl). Just trying to keep my collection of a t-shirt or a hat for every time they make it to the Superbowl.

So, today I want to you my rave as a bragging point. This is a good day in my house today. First, it was my grandson's first day in Primary. He is a Sunbeam now, no more nursery and he was so excited about it! His teacher is a good friend of mine and I can't think of anyone who would be better as a first primary teacher for a kid to start with in Primary. Because his birthday is February 7, he spent a very long time in nursery and so he is ready for primary, since he missed moving into primary last year by just a little over 1 month. I am glad though, because I see no need to rush his experiences and this way he is one of the older kids in the class and should be more mature.

The second big thing is I started my very own fire in my fireplace. This is the first time I have ever done it. My ex always was in charge of fires. Well, it is raining out so there is a real chill in the air and I figured a fire would take off the chill.

That is GREAT news to hear that your grandson had his first day in Primary today. Much props to ya on starting your own fire too. I know how hard it is to start a fire in the fireplace without much help too.

Also, did you get the chance to see the Pats game today? It was a really good game and of course they won today too.

I was called recently as a Primary Teacher (ages 4 to 7). Since I never had a calling in Primary (yes! 16 years in the Church but never a calling in Primary) I have a couple of questions for you if you know the answer

1. Sunbeam class is for kids from what age to what age?

2. The class for kids 4 to 7 is called 'CTR'?

3. Felipe is a little over 3 1/2 years old. His 4th birthday will be on April 4th. What class is he supposed to be?.

LDS, Felipe would be a sunbeam. Sunbeams are anyone who is 3 on January 1. My grandson will be 4 on February 7 and he just started Sunbeams. Even as a Sunbeam he got his CRT ring the first day of class and learned what CTR means.


MSS, I don't know what game you were watching, but the Pats didn't play this weekend. They had a bye week. They play the Titans next Saturday evening.

By the way, I cheated with the fire. I bought these firestarters. It is like a huge match, but made out out compressed wood. You strike it like a match to light it and place it between your wood. No kindling or paper needed and the fire starts nicely. Of course, I still had to figure out what to do with the damper, etc.
