Any idea from until what age a sunbeam is? because I teach the class for the kids from 4 to 7 (Felipe is way too young and immature for this class) but I always wonder if there was a class for smaller children and now that you mention sunbeams I wonder from what age to what age is the sunbeam class because I'm not aware of one in Church here.

Any child who has reached the age of 3 by January 1 of the current year is a Sunbeam, so this should be his first year. He should have started yesterday. Nursery goes from 18 months until 3, but if you turn 3 after January 1 you stay in nursery until the next year. In nursery you start whenever you turn 18 months, but then from that point on each class goes from January to January. The age you are at January 1 is always what decides which class (until Priesthood) so, when he turns 4 in April, he would stay a Sunbeam. Then in January he would move up to the next class which would be 4 year old CTRs because as of that January 1 date he would still be 4. Does that make sense?

In Trini do you have enough kids that each age has their own class or are all kids from 4 to seven in the same classroom? That seems like a big age difference from 4 to 7 to have them all in the same class. Here, we have different classes for each age even though they are all still CTRs. In my ward we actually have several Sunbeam classes because we have so many kids and they want to keep the classes small. Last year there were 3 Sunbeam classes. I am not sure if there are 3 now or a different number, but it is more than 1 anyway.

Farseer, yes, well at that time she was not LDS, and I did not know how to 'trust' her abilities. Of course she has proved herself a worthy disciple of the forum calling . I hope she can be well and return to moderation.

Tenaheff thanks for your recent donation and continued work. It is up to you to take over where others have left off, seems like you are in the trail for the next big poster around here! By the way, you do not have to envy the post count (teasing about the thread on deadly sins) .

I envy how many posts LDS has today! Ithink she is probably unbeatable for the 1000 FP contest!

Thanks Tenaheff, about LDS' posts... she actually asked me to monitor it so if anyone starts to catch up she can come back on . Mostly I told her if she had anyone to worry about it would be you or Fun, but he doesn't seem to be around much.
