    Introduction JB

Oh, yeah? Well, here in America we have diet caffeine free Coke and Taco Bell. Heh heh heh. tongue.gif (At least, I don't think you have those) Those who have snow also get the opportunity to snow ski at wonderful resorts, go to awesome places for tubing and ice blocking, to make forts, igloo's, and have massive snow ball fights, make Frosty the snow man, make snow-angels, try making yummy treats with it (such as ice cones), and are able to put snow down other people's backs. The last one is quite fun in my experience. wink.gif .

spock.gif I am not a fan of Taco Bell (I think you want to refer that to LDS, not me) or Coke (and we can get that here, we are not that out of the way). Also, I have medium slope skied in the past and have lived in Utah, Maryland, and the UK - all snow countries and I would have to say that it does not compare with tropical fun.

I agree with you, JB. Fun in the Sun is way better than any winter sport I have ever tried. No matter how much fun the activity might be, it will still be cold! I am jealous!!!

laugh.gif, okay, okay! I concur, fun in the sun rules. *bows down to him* Wish I was there. You sure have been around, those are some diverse places you have lived. The only place tropical I have ever been was Hawaii, and that was absolutely the best trip. If I could live there, I would.

Well, La-ti-dah! Make us all envious of your tropical paradise!! (although, I seem to remember quite a few threads on the Forum ranting and raving about how primitive things are there... hmmm?)

I haven't ever been outside of the US, other than short trips into Baja, but that's almost like being in SoCali anyway.

Tahoe was a great place to live, even with 10 feet of snow -- one apartment I lived in had a set of stairs on the back side of the building that were covered in snow until *July*. My back door on that apartment was completely blocked -- you open the door, and it's a solid wall of snow. That was interesting.

Glad I don't have to live in any snowy areas now, even if we do get cold temps.

    Roz

Yes, quite primitive indeed and the only thing I have to look forward to is the great sunny atmosphere of the Tropics wink.gif and the spicy food that I will miss when Argentina comes around.
