Well, I guess when it rains it pours. All I can say is try to stay positive. I am sure the Lord has big things planned for you and your family once you get through this refiner's fire. I hope Sol's grandmother is better soon.

Thanks for all your words of encouragement. I believe I am mentally over the first tsunami. Today I was actually thinking that I do generally look for the best in each situation, but sometimes when it is prolonged it can turn into pessimism, but I have relatively changed due to taking a different outlook. I believe if I maintained the frame of mind of trying to 'settle-in' then I would still be uncomfortable, but because I look at it as 'camping out' I do not have to expect much and I don't. I just get up, do my work, look for jobs online, respond to Emails and hope for a better day tomorrow. I am looking to see where the Heavens wish to take me. Maybe I am being prepared for something I do not know. What I am still concerned about is my son, each day passes and he is far from his age. I am awaiting two more weeks for a change in him so that he can begin to learn and concentrate.

JB. I was reading your blog regarding whether or not ADHD is genetic. I believe it is definately. My grandson has it. My son has it. I see symptoms in me and my father although neither of us have been diagnosed because when we were children no one had ever heard of it.

My son's doctor told me at the time he was diagnosed that he quite frequently would diagnose a child and then end up treating that child's parent as well.

    Introduction JB

JB: Just as I said to LDS, I just wanted to let you know that you and your family are in my thoughts! I don't have to tell you that there is sunshine just past the clouds, but in times like this it just helps to hear it from someone else. Hopefully things will be back to normal soon.

    JB Introduction

Got caught up on your blog. Sorry its been so long, you situation hasn't gotten better I see. To answer questions in your blog, I believe that mental illness in general has a tendency to be heretic. ADHD is classified as a mental illness of sorts as well. I grew up with a brother mentally challenged, depressed, and hyper and my nephew is on anti depressants at age 12 so I have allot of experience with children with developmental problems. All I can say is hang in there, the medication will eventually work, it takes time usually.

I have to say that you are the most patient husband I have ever met. You and sol are very patient to stay with her and not check her into a home some where. I would be going out of my mind dealing with your situation right now. I have however put you on my parents churches prayer list, I think you two can use all the prayers anyone has to offer. Ill be thinking about you constantly!

I knew you were up to something with all the new threads in the Mature section laugh.gif
It is funny and you were right! I sometimes wish there was as much interest and response in some other sections too!

I like to conduct these 'little' experiments every now and again, I call it 'Board Blitzing', I will take a Board and go through a massive update, but I have never had quite such a response as I did in the Mature section. Concerning the sections you want more active see here.
