Yes, I am hoping to have more couples here to create this kind of atmosphere, because when it exists in the Community it makes it a truly unique place to be.

    Introduction JB

JB, I bought a digital camera a few weeks back. It's a cheapie, but it gets the job done. I have been trying soooo hard to get a picture of my eye, but it's next to impossible. The flash has about the same resilience as a supernova, so if I get it too close, then my eye just looks white and I have been blinded for the next month. Too far away, then it just doesn't look right, and it gets too much of my face. tongue.gif But I did want you to know, I am trying.

Here is a suggestion... just take a regular photo of yourself and put it up, if you are too shy for that just remain with your current Avatar - do not make it a hassle.

But...but... **face falls** JB, that would be the easy way to do things. Have you ever known a woman to do things the easy way? Actually, I'm looking at it as a challenge. I really like the idea of getting a picture like that because... I don't know. Artistically, I think pictures of an eye are really awesome. I may need to try it with my Rebel Ti. Not a digital camera, but much better quality and such. You gave me a challenge, and now I'm determined to do it.

    Introduction JB

JB, just read your blog, and I wanted to say I am sorry that you had to go through all that trouble emailing so many people with zero success. I saw the discussion you opened up a while ago looking for work at home opportunities. I too have been looking for a good work at home program but haven't found one yet. I'll keep you in my prayers and hope that you get the work you are looking for. Good luck!

    JB Introduction

Thanks, actually, today was the first day in a long time that we have finally crossed a hurdle (paid off huge bills that have still crept up from the Argentina trip) that puts us on a path to begin to save. However, with a little one on the way I have to double / triple my efforts. All prayers welcomed, I am a big believer of prayers.

On another note, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Lord for His many blessings, for all that we have been through in the past six months I think it is nothing less than miraculous that we have both survived, able to be here, have our basic needs met and now look towards a brighter future - all praises to Him!

I also read your blog, JB, and noted that your emailing experience is very typical of any mass-mailing effort ~ about 1% of the total will respond, and only 10% of those who respond will actually sign up for whatever you're selling. I'm sorry it's such a struggle for you right now, my friend. You and your family are in my prayers.

Read your blog, so sorry to hear that business is not going as well. You are extremely talented and persistent, I have no doubt that the business will come, and then, you will have more than you could dream of!

Every time I read about Felipe's issues with speaking it reminds me of my first child. We thought he would never learn to speak, and then, maybe not correctly. He just started one day and hasn't stopped. Though is has shown significant problems learning new things despite his desire, I have seen that children can be very resilient and often push when we are ready to give up.
