Urgent Donation Drive

We need to raise at least $100 today and have started an urgent Donation Drive to hopefully raise this. If everyone chips in $5, $10, $15 or more then I know we can reach it today 13 March, 2006!

I look forward to all your support and will be updating this Announcement as the Donations do come in.

That is true for the faithful Members, in fact save for yourself, it is sad that mostly those who have already donated are the ones that end up donating again. I really launched this hoping to gather new support rather than place a burden on those who already supporting this Community so well.

I have also noticed that asking for donations in such a manner - like a Donation Drive causes less posting - it intimidates I guess - money hurts, especially when it is being asked of you .

I wish I had more to give. Money has gotten really tight for me over the last two days with having to go to the medical clinic and buying medicine, and then we're going out of town tomorrow for a funeral, so what I have has to be able to last me away from home.

That is okay, I thank you for your contribution and I am hoping that others will do likewise, especially those that have used the site good and proper without making any contributions. It is a shame that it is always the Moderators that are Contributing when many others use this site.

We need to get that extra $30.00 that is outstanding and I am hoping someone or some people can step up to the plate so I can take down these ridiculous pleas for Donations.

Hope the drive is going well and you could cover the cost. I think I speak for all of the regulars here that we would give so much more if we could, you indeed give so much of yourself.

I read your blog, I remember that my wife was worried about her size in both the second and third pregnancies. She was worried constantly about every little thing. I really thought that would get less after the first pregnancy, but it didn't. So I can empathies with you, pregnancy is so exciting is it not?!

Well, the Donation Drive is no longer on. It was both a success and failure. It was a success in that we almost hit our target, but a failure in that it took long to reach where we did. In the end, the biggest failure was mine and I hope to not be in that situation again. In fact, I took it off early as I really did not like it in the first place. I hope never to have such Donation Drives again.

As for the Pregnancy... I have learned to understand my wife's concern and accept it as 'part' of the entertainment of Pregnancy .
