Introduction FarSeer
Now, don't start! It's just a baseball game, after all. And the more I think about it, I'm sure he only called me because I'm a singles rep and he needed help. But I'm going anyway, because he is a nice man (and his brother is in my ward, so I know a little about him) and the game will be fun. I haven't been to a pro ball game in over 25 years!Let's just not make too much out of it before anything even happens.

Nope. Not a date. But it was a fun evening, with 4 singles from church. We drove 75 miles to Anaheim Stadium, had some great conversation on the way, then and watched the Angels lose to the DC Nationals -- and all the furor over pitcher Donnelly's "foreign substance" in his glove! It was really fun, and there was not even a HINT of a date! However, we all discussed how fun it would be to get a regular group of singles going to different types of events. Everyone got along real well, and I'm sure it's the start of *something* -- even if it's just the long-awaited single's program finally getting a kick-start! Some people are too shy so they do not want to make it an official declaration by using the word 'date', but they do take the moment to observe common interests, in any case I am glad you went out and had fun.
