FarSeer Introduction - Page 40

She's actually still in the emergency room, as of about an hour ago. I'm not sure what will happen next, but the doctor said he will have the hospice people call *us* next week.

Roz, any updates?. I just gave another prayer for her, that the Lord may do his will concerning her and don't let her suffer. Please keep us update if possible, I know you may be very busy. Thanks.

Thank you for your prayers, my friend. She was admitted to the hospital last night (finally) and they have started her on a new antibiotic. I went to see her this morning, and she is very pale and weak. They say her red blood cell count is down again to 6.6 (normal is 12 to 14), and they ran several tests to see if she is bleeding internally. Those all came back negative (which is good), and their concern now is that her body is not manufacturing enough red blood cells. That is a bone marrow issue. We still aren't sure what is to happen next. They will give her more blood tonight, to give her time to fight the pneumonia. Once that is resolved, then we will talk about what is next.

I wonder if it is some of the medication she is taking that make her red blood cells go down so low? I do not understand that if she is taking the proper medication why the number do not go up?. Please keep us update if there is any changes. Thanks.

I am so sorry to hear that things are not getting better for your sister. I hope and pray that she will beginning to get better very soon. She has had so many problems, it saddens me to hear about more problems, its like it never ends. You and your family, especially your sis, are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you, my friends. I do appreciate your support and prayers. It just seems a waiting game, now, and a roller coaster ride, too. She's better, she's worse, she's better, she's worse, up and down.... yikes. I spent several hours with her today, and she's so congested -- but has no strength to cough. They had to "vacuum" her lungs out, and she fought them and cried and screamed. It was terrible. I'm not sure she knows where she is or how sick she is, because yesterday she asked me to get her dressed and put on her makeup! We're just marking time, I think.
