Introduction FarSeer

My thoughts are truly with you Farseer. I know this has been a very harsh and tragic year to two years for you. It just seems like one thing after another. Just know that we are here for you as always.

And its great to see you online again, we really missed you!

Roz, it is so nice to see you back! I really miss those days when we used to chat and talk about everything. I am so sorry I am not able to do that at the moment but please do not think for a second that I do not think about you. I always do, I always remember your sweet spirit and that special mothering love you have. It is really special.
Love you!

Thank you, my friends! It's good to have people "behind" you when things like this happen. I really appreciate your thoughts and prayers.

LDS_Forever, I know you are busy with your little ones. I can't imagine how you find time to be online! It's good to "see" you here, but we know how your time is these days - full of kids!
Love,
Roz

Introduction FarSeer

I just read your blog and often I wonder if I am reading something similar for the future of my children - I really hope not! In any case, I am sorry to say, but some people learn the hard way, they do not get the 'kind' method, and hopefully a wake up call will set him straight, I hope that call is not too much to bare - pray for him as only a mother can.

FarSeer Introduction

Roz, I just read your blog and even though he is not my son..I got pretty upset with him for putting you through that! Actually his dad and you have been more than "merciful" in allowing him to negotiate in the first place!

Thank you, JB & Sol, for your comments. What do we do with our kids? I think I'm being patient and kind to my son, and it turns out I was being duped and should have taken different stance with him. And all this time I tell people what a great kid he is, and he's been laughing at me behind my back. It really has hurt my feelings, besides being so disappointed and angry. And then to see his face, how angry *he* was with *us*! He really has no clue. Tomorrow is his birthday. I'm going to put the receipt for the car payment I made on his windshield. "Happy Birthday!"

I think children generally feel that parents are supposed to do the kind things we do for them and thus count it as our 'duty' for which they need not be grateful. What really hurts is remembering them as babies, small and helpless - now they are all grown up and think they have been around for longer.

spock.gif Already I am talking like the parent of a teen, I guess I have seen it so many times through other people's children.
