Introduction FarSeer
Wow, empathy! I remember those hand-typing days. My job with a CPA I worked for many years ago (among other things) was to type the corporate tax returns. They had the individual returns available by computer, but not the corp. That was some 20 years ago!
Would that our company was at least grateful at the end of tax season. They generally give a little bonus at the end of the year, but it's not as generous as I think it should be, given how hard we all work.
I'm tired of deadlines, deadlines, deadlines, and no real appreciation for what we do. If they would even just respond to my requests for
help - just *acknowledge* that I've asked for
help! - I could feel a little better. But they are willing to let me slog through all this work basically by myself until we get so far behind that the clients start complaining. I think I could handle it all much better if the owners were more appreciative.
Hey, maybe they *want* me to quit? And this is their message? Hmm. Something to ponder.
Thanks for your "been there" thoughts
