Time, what's that?

What made you decide to go after a degree now? Do you have some college credits already? Maybe you can do some distance learning courses and apply the credit. Then you can study at a college when you do have time. This will cut down your in class time and the number of years you have to study.

I want the degree because I am tired of "working for the man," so to speak. I would also like to be able to say I accomplished something in my life.

But really, I'd like to have more earning potential, and a degree adds credibility to my already impressive skills ( do I sound like a resume'? ) I do actually have some college credits that can be applied, and I'll have to remember all the dates and places I actually attended. Some won't be applicable because they were in vocational areas like real estate, but I think most will be good toward what I do going forward.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers and good wishes. We are doing better today. So much happened so fast it's almost not real, you know? It will take some getting used to before it really sinks in that he is gone. Me? I'm just tired, as usual.... but hanging in there. Life goes on, whether we are ready or not. Thanks again

Roz, I am reading all these news about the fires in Southern California and getting a bit worried, how far you are from all this? I remember also you have a friend in San Diego, no? Please let me know, I will write in Mousetrails thread as well as I believe he is in Southern California as well.

Concerning your hour long struggle, do you use FireFox or IE? FireFox has a built in spell check that checks your work as you type. Also it caches everything so if you hit the back button you will find your Post is still there.
