Yes, we're here at my sister's, I just didn't realize I would have any "free" time hehehe Right now, we're waiting for the coals to get hot and the baked potatoes to finish!We're having a lovely visit. All of her surviving children are here, and we are celebrating Jared's birthday tomorrow with all of his favorite things for dinner. A chair will be placed for him... and we'll toast him with IBC root beer
One more day, then driving home again on Monday.Thanks for asking .. we're doing okay.

Thank you, Klar, we had a great drive home. My daughter was "navigator" and read the map for me... I kept firing questions at her: "What's the next town?" "How far is it to San Bernardino from here?" "Where does this highway meet the next one, in what city and what are all the cities in between here and there?" Etc etc etc... it was fun, and she gets to learn how to read a map We sang, ate junk food, and had an enjoyable time together -- which we really needed! ! FarSeer Introduction
I did that with my oldest son when ever we traveled anywhere. I would supply him with a map of our route and made sure that he knew how we were getting someplace and how long til the next stop was. He really liked it. I tried with the other four but they did not seem to care. I guess some just like to stare out a window or play the games we had. Traveling bingo has always been a great hit. Nowadays it is just them with the electronic device while they listen to their MP3 players.
