Part of it. There's just so much going on right now -- everywhere! And having such a stressful time at work doesn't help alll the other "stuff" happening. I just feel like I have no time to do anything, at home or at work, and it's just all piling up on me. I can't think straight. I feel stunned. And when I don't know where to *start* getting things in order, I feel like I can't do anything at all because I can't get *started*.... and then when I do start one thing, it seems I always get distracted by something else that somebody thinks is important, so the first thing doesn't get done... it's like a giant snowball of annoyances that keeps getting bigger as it rolls through....grrrr

FarSeer, have you had a Priesthood blessing lately?? Sometimes us single Sisters forget to ask for blessings, as we don't have a priesthood holder in the house on a regular basis. Don't be shy about calling your Home Teacher and asking for one on a regular basis. He recieves blessings from it too you know. My prayers are with you - Love Arna

Introduction FarSeer

Thank you, Arna, that is probably the best suggestion I've heard all day. No, I haven't had one in probably two years. I will beseech the Brethren on the morrow smile.gif

FarSeer, I hope all goes well for you today. I am well familiar with the March 15 tax deadline. For my ex this was a busier deadline than 4/15.

been there, done it, bought the t-shirt

the key is time management. Do yuo keep a "to do" list?

if yuo don't, try making one and see how it goes. At the start of the day, make a list and write down all the jobs yuo have to do. If some of these tasks are large, then break them down into smaller elements. After yuo have listed everthing that yuo have to do, run through those jobs allocating priorities of importance from A (very important) to F (low priority). Rewrite the list in order of importance

now yuo have a precise battle plan, and yuo should be able to tackle the important jobs first, and not get bogged down so much by the numerous time-consuming low priority stuff

yuo might find that the low priority tasks get carried over to the next day and the next and so on and so forth, and it could be weeks before they get done. But it doesn't matter, as long as the important stuff is out of the way, yuo should find yuor stress levels significantly down

works for me
