Hi, LDS_Forever I was reading your blog, and I know the challenges you are facing with Felipe may be life-long. One thing I wanted to say is that a couple of months ago I read an article in Time (or maybe it was Newsweek? ) magazine (the print version, not on the 'net) that said that autism may actually be a form or consequence of hyper-intelligence. So it doesn't surprise me that in other aspects of his development, aside from speech, he's doing well.

You are, as always, in my prayers.

Thank you Roz, yes, his non-verbal abilities are fine and to his age range but limited due to his hyperactivity disorder...it's in the verbal abilities that he is facing challenges. I also think in the use of computers he is above average, he is really good and learns quickly. Thank you so much for your prayers, please keep our names in the Temple roll. God bless.

Hi LDS, sorry, I've only just seen your blog, that's really frustrating for you, especially when they've all got there own thoughts on the matter. I know where you're coming from on that one. You are as usual in our prayers.
I can only advise you to keep your chin up, God will have this in hand, I'm a strong believer in the power of prayer, and know that God wouldn't expect you to do anything that you weren't capable of, but instead, I'm sure you were chosen for this very reason. I saw something the other day on the internet regarding a natural remedy to help, but have misplaced the information. I will try my best to find it and let you know what it was.
(I'm sure it was a mineral or vitamin--but will try to find out definitely what it was)
