What I don't get - why has the US been 'OK' with Gaddafi who instigated a lot of terror in the past but find it difficult to deal with the one under orders? I do not think the guy should have been released either, but just wondering about the double standard.

I think he should have been kept in prison till he died. LEt them accept a body back. Now that they have released him his family is rejoicing and looking at the western world as a bunch of weaklings. Some of the decisions by countries governments of late makes me wonder what is going to happen in the next few years.
