I really have not been that familiar with her work. I know she was in Dreamgirls but that is about it. But I think this is a real tragedy what happened to her mother, brother and nephew. I am guessing it was the boy's father but I suppose time will tell. What kind of person has such a blatant disregard for human life?

Yes it was very tragic what has happened to her family. I hope that they do catch this guy. From what I know of her she is a nice gal.

From what I have read about her (since this tragedy happened) she is really down to earth and so far has not let fame and fortune go to her head.

It's terrible that anybody should have to face tragedy on such a huge scale.Hopefully they will catch whoever is responsible very soon, even that will never make the pain for her any better though.
