USDA Cites Company For Mishandling Puppies

A Missouri company that shipped a truck load of puppies to Massachusetts is accused of animal abuse and has been cited by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Just because the truck was inspected by the USDA does not mean that the conditions in the truck did not change. Being transported across country in a closed truck is not good for any animal. Just having ventilation would be good for them. yes they had food and water when they started but was it enough to last them 2,000 miles? I hope the shipping company learns from this and take better care in the shipping of future puppies.
