Valerie Vili although has really just begun winning medals in the international circuit, in my mind will grow to be one of New Zealand's most famous athletes. For a country like New Zealand, whom has a population of around 4.1 million to be winning gold medals at the top of the World, it's really a great thing. Valerie is a really nice lady too, she has been known to participate in small community activities and will even say Hello if you happen to run into her in the street or on the field.
