The sad thing about life is that if your news effects the USA then it will get front place, but if it is just as serious, or even more serious but only affects Ghana, then it is not as important.
With all the clammering to find out what is going on in Iraq and North Korea the rest of the world is forgotten, but here is a place you can still know what is going on.
CONFLICTS RAGE ACROSS GLOBE
Civil war. Mutilations. Nuclear proliferation. Human trafficking. Those are
some of the seeds and fruits of conflicts around the globe. While Iraq and
North Korea dominate the world's attention, strife in other nations goes
almost unnoticed. CNN.com and the Council on Foreign Relations report on some
of those conflicts.

I have often wondered why everytime I turn on the tv to watch the news, it's always some headline about Iraq or North Korea. It is getting to be a little redundant to me. Of course I would like to know what's going on, but not the same reports over and over again. Surely, the general public wants to hear about other things in the world news other than what's going on in Iraq. Or if North Korea is a threat for nuclear war. It appears to me that the news is turning into a commercial business where, wars, conflicts in other countries, terrorist bombings, and violence seem to be dominating over the good stuff. Why is that? Couldn't they mix some of the bad news with the good news. Or are the news people afraid that viewers will turn it off or change the channel?
MAYBE THE REASON WHY THE WORLD IS SO OBSESSED WITH IRAQ IS CUZ IF THAT COULD HAPPEN TO THEM IT CAN HAPPEN TO US ?!AND WHAT WILL THE REST OF THE WORLD BE DOING THEN HUH?!JUST WATCHING CNN AND BBC AGAIN???????????????????
I'm a journalist, even though I'm not working on it right now, I always like to be informed but come on : I never heard about Middle East news so much like now!!!! I never thought I would know so much about India, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq....oh goshhhh : what about the rest of the world???
