There is no forever, love.
Life is a wheel that continually turns. The seasons change, the years pass. Spring turns to Summer, to Fall to Winter.
All things change, and we live many lifetimes in one life.
I have no regrets, have many fond memories. All of them were true love, because neither of us were faking it.
But life carries you where your destiny leads you. You just have to learn to live the moment given you, love whomever is sent your way and remain true to your own honor. That's all any of us can do.
We really are not in control.

LDS,
I had to come back and elaborate on that.
We all vastly underestimate the capacity of the human heart.
It has no boundries. It can love without limits.
We frail humans tend to want to bind it up in fearful concepts- "love only me".
We want to 'freeze-frame' life. Stop everythiing right here in this moment.
You can't do that.
Would you believe I still love my very first girlfriend?
Dingbat though she was, she was special. This is, yea, many years later. I have a new, very special lady, but that doesn't stop my heart from loving my very first little dingo blonde.
Your heart knows no master, gives allegience to no limitations. It just loves whoever it loves. It's not a test of loyalty.
Only our only fears and insecurities make it a test, and that ruins the whole thing.
Never feel guilty about loving.
PS
But I would still bomb Saddam into oblivion, and yes, I really meant it when I told that fool dog I was going to kill him.
Whew!
--wipes brow--
Thought I was goiing soft there for a minute.

JB
She knows.
She is my true love who waited patiently while I weeded through all my exes.
She has know me since she was jail bait, and I am nothing if not blunt and to the point.
If there is anything I can say about this old rogue, it is if you don't want to know what I think about sometthing, you had better not ask, because I don't sugarcoat it.
You always know where you stand with me. That way, there are no excuses.
