I would certainly find for a man or woman a big turn off would be them making a judgement about somebody by looks without knowing the persons personality, also somebody so conceited, they have no time for anybody else.
a turn on would be for me, nice manners, politeness, and most of all a genuine nature, somebody who can be themselves without airs and graces!
That to me counts for more than anything.
Oh yes, and I would have to agree also about not wearing gallons of perfume/ scent
Turn offs:
Ignorance, addictions, unkindness to children (or anyone, for that matter), bragging, unkempt, foul language, can't talk about anything that doesn't end up as a sexual innuendo, etc. What I once heard termed "Low Men." And a man with hands softer than mine is just uncomfortable.
Turn ons:
Self-control, positive self-awareness. Some men just have a "presence" that you can't describe. They fill the room, and somehow give you confidence in them without saying a word.
A man who is friendly, funny, easy going, and intelligent will turn me on. Physically, I go for a great smile, a direct gaze, and strong hands that are not too small. I know it sounds strange, but a mans hands will tell a lot about him. I was going to say turn offs are all those listed above. The three worse are intolerance, addiction, and deceitfulness.
