The White House is upset with Glenn -- they want him to stop calling the Czars, Czars. No mention on the militant Marxist and Communist commentaries -- that's not offensive. Nope, don't you dare call him a Czar! Today on Know! Your! Czars! Glenn goes over a Czar with regulatory control, who believes your dog should be allowed to hire an attorney and go to court -- if it so chooses. Yeah, we're doomed. Who is today's Czar? Ref. Yeah, the White House is correct. We shouldn't call them czars. Czars were kings. What we now have are commissars after the Soviet Union model.

I do not much care if you call them Czars or Commissars. Either way they are people who are being put in charge of things and no one has any way of stopping them. They are not regulated by the courts or congress. All this power and no check or balance to see if they are right for the position. The more the president appoints people over something how long before he is a dictator?

I'm sure if they had their way he would probably refer to them as "kings" and he'd reserve "emperor" for himself. I'm with the poster above on this. What the media chooses to call them does not change the kind of power and influence they have. The further away we get from the original ideals of the U.S. Constitution the further we get from freedom.

You do have a option that would speak loudly. The midterm elections. Send the anointed one a message. Let him know that we were not interested in change being the replacement of Washington politics as usual with Chicago politics as usual. All these Czars/Kommissars have staffs and they are paid for with your tax dollars. I feel Bill Ayers would be in charge of Homeland Security if he thought no one would notice.

Previous Presidents have all had Czars (most of the time they call them 'advisors') but Obama is taking the Czar thing to a whole new level. Apparently he thought to fill a 'czar' post there should be actual communist viewpoints involved. It's quite an amazing thing to listen to the rundown of the viewpoints Obama's current Czars believe -- considering they are 'advising' the President on a frequent basis.
