Van Jones unhinged
After weeks of asking the White House to answer questions on the radical background and beliefs of Obama's Green Jobs Czar, Van Jones, they STILL have not responded. Probably with good reason because the guy is a radical Marxist and has latched on to the Green jobs movement in order to achieve 'social justice.' Take a look at this video from waaaaaay back in 2009 where he says:
"And our Native American sisters and brothers who were pushed and bullied and mistreated and shoved into all the land we didn't want, where it was all hot and windy, well, guess what. Renewable energy. Guess what, solar industry. Guess what, wind industry. They now own and control 80% of the renewable energy resources. No more broken treaties. No more broken treaties. Give them the wealth. Give them the wealth. Give them the dignity. Give them the respect that they deserve. No justice on stolen land. We owe them a debt." Ref. Source 1
White House Environmental Adviser Van Jones Resigns Citing "Vicious Smear Campaign Against Me"
The Obama administration's special adviser for environmental jobs, Van Jones, has resigned citing what he described as a "vicious smear campaign" against him. For the past month, Fox News has run a series of reports on Jones's alleged association with communists and his decision to sign a petition calling for a congressional probe of the 9/11 attacks. Jones is the founding president of Green for All and author of the book The Green Collar Economy. We speak with James Rucker, who co-founded the group Color of Change with Van Jones, and with Malkia Cyril, founder of the Center for Media Justice. We also talk to Ben Jealous, president and CEO of the NAACP. Ref. Source 1
Apparently, the NAACP's idea of "National Treasure" is a bit different from mine:
International Level: International Guru / Political Participation: 863 86.3%
Van Jones: American treasure?
It seems like it was not long ago that Van Jones was shamed into resigning his gig from the White House because it was revealed he was a 9/11 truther. That was just the straw that broke the camel's back. Van Jones is also a radical communist who has in the past supported a convicted cop killer. That doesn't exactly scream 'American treasure' but perhaps the NAACP was right: he's just misunderstood. Glenn tries to find out what he's missing about Van Jones on radio today. Ref. Source 6
I love you, you love me...
Van Jones finally came out of hiding and is now on a nationwide image repair tour, and while speaking at the NAACP Image Awards Jones had a few things to say to Glenn. There is a lot of audio of Jones because the media is happy to give this communist a microphone, and that's great because in America free speech is allowed. Can't say the same for those wonderful communist countries. Check out Glenn's reaction to Jones "I see you and I love you" declaration. Ref. Source 2
Liberals stink at poetry
Usually the left has the arts market cornered - but poetry? Not so much. Who could forget Al Gore's intellectual beast of a poem with such dazzling lines as "Neptune's bones dissolve" littered throughout. Now, Van Jones took part in a poetry contest - not that the communist wants to encourage competition or anything. They just wanted good poetry. What they got was good (unintentional) comedy. Glenn has the audio on radio today. Ref. Source 1
Van Jones: What I learned in the White House
More from the telling video clip of Van Jones - this time candidly admitting that people with his politics (militant communism) aren't usually allowed in the White House. He goes on to talk about how no one - not even the President - has all the power, but there are 'informal' power structures in place that need to be used. Interesting, candid and frightening all rolled into one. Glenn has more on the Van Jones clip on radio today. Ref. Source 8
