I guess not everything that shines is gold with what it looks as "Perfect" Families...
When he was 14 years old, Josh Duggar allegedly sexually molested minor girls including his own sisters.
This could happen in a family of four or forty. Not that I am excusing what he did at all, but it should not surround the large family scenario as being the reason for a [perverted] 14 year old's actions. Although many can speculate that had he been 'policed' more by his parents then it could have been prevented, yet many of these crimes go unreported but happen more than we think. At least he is honest about his actions and not running for a lawyer to say he is innocent.
UPDATE: Changed "Curious" To "Perverted".
JB, I do not think the use of the word "Curious" Is appropriate. If Josh was a 50 year old man, I doubt you would describe him as "Curious". Fondling private parts of minors (Including his own sisters) while they slept, is a criminal act NOT the act of a curious teenager. Let's put that straight.
Second, he is being honest because the crime already prescribed and they can't do anything to him.
One of the ironies of the story is that when Josh's parents sent him away after these incidents and he returned, Josh's father took him to Arkansas State Trooper, Jim Hutchens. They know each other personally. Hutchens did not take ANY official action and instead gave Josh a “very stern talk" But never charged him.
Guess what? Jim Hutchens is now currently serving 56 years in prison for child pornography.
