How do you know if you have found the right one, good question. Listen to that still small voice. He will tell you every time. I never did, but now I do, and then I found out I had married the right one all along..... |
When I met my husband, we were friends for a long time. We always got along great together. Then one day, we just sorta got together as a couple. I have never met anyone quite like him. Very caring, compassionate, thoughtful, loving, a good listener, and a good shoulder to lean on. He puts my needs before his, as I do for him. I knew he was definitely the right one for me, that's why when he asked me to marry him, I said yes. Because when we were apart, I felt like a part of me was missing. He makes me feel like my life is complete. :D
For me I believe that compatability in Religion and values is a definate Priority even over "love"
As you may observe I do not believe in love at first sight... love, true abiding love is something that grows over time, as you get to know eachother and discover how compatible your lives really are.
Of course honesty is a must, or you cannot accuratly judge compatabliity.
If a couple share the same faith (ie. I will only consider an LDS woman) and have similar values (ie. I am a vegetarian) then they can learn to love eachother.
