No I'm not calling our church faithless, but after reading Moroni's statements about the lack of miracles it makes me want to do some soul searching myself & want to try & develop the kind of faith that the prophets had in the scriptures, and be able to recognize more the hand of God in my life. I'm looking forward to time where we can work many mighty miracles like the Nephites did when they were righteous, or like in the early church days with the faith of the pioneers when the gifts of the spirit mentioned in the scriptures were abundant. God is more than willing to work mighty miracles among us, and I do believe every one of us can increase the faith that we have so that he can show us things things.
I have never seen a plausible answer as to why we do not experience miracles like this anymore. In the Bible miracles happened regardless to those looking on being faithful or faithless. Even if they did not happen to an individual or group there should still be news reports about them. Just imagine Deseret News reports: GA brings man back from dead or Hometeachers heal man from blindness.
I believe there are still some miracles happening around the world and most of the time we do not hear about them as there are soo many more people compared to those that are healed of this or that ailment. Plus the fact that the news does not want to report on good stuff or biblical stuff makes it even harder to see some of the good things going on in the world.
