I have a couple of thoughts about this:

First, would Vladimir have done the same for us?

Second, its actually counter productive to warn the Russians if we want to see Putin fall. Terrorism attacks against Russians in Russia would make Putin look like he can be easily breached thus making him look bad politically.

Third, of course I would have warned anyone about an attempted bombing… just saying *wink*.
