I see Dominoes Pizza advertizing $5 pizza on cable and then you go into a typical Dominoes Pizza place in Trinidad and the price is thrice that. Why do people have to charge more just because they can in Trinidad? I mean come on. No, I don't buy there anymore, just the one time.
It's simple. Because Trinis buy it. They love to brag that they can afford such and such items so they have no problem in letting you know that they spent 100's of $$$ in there. It's funny because they do it to impress others, it does not impress me at all, I think the whole thing makes them look idiotic.
I was in Woodbrook sometime last year and went into Domino's to see what the prices were like. After one look I walked back out. Sorry but after living in the US and experiencing deals and even specials like 'get two pizzas for $7' I can't find myself paying ridiculous prices for food even if I can afford it. I wish more local consumers will think like that, it will bring the cost of things in general to a manageable figure so everyone could live happily. However, as LDS_forever pointed out, people buy here because they want the social 'pat on the back' because they pay more for something not worth it - stupid.

They're okay however their prices are ridiculous for just pizza! They definetely need to improve in that department.
