Aeromexico jet hijacked
MEXICO CITY (AP) - Hijackers are holding a flight from Cancun to Mexico City. Mexico Communications Secretary Juan Molinar says the plane is sitting on the runway at the Mexico City international airport. Mexican network TV Azteca reported that the flight Wednesday was carrying 104 passengers. Ref. USAToday

Glad it ended well so no one came out dead. I did not have a chance to look at Fox for details, so if anyone knows what the motives were behind the hijacking please update this Thread.

My brother lives in Mexico and we just spoke 45 minutes ago. He said it is being reported on the news that they were religious fanatics and something related to today's date 9/9/9 (666 backwards).
