A GWENT couple had a 'wedding' with a difference yesterday, declaring their love in a pagan ceremony.

My wife and I had a Celtic wedding last year. The Priest was of the Church of England, but the service had elements of the Pagan tradition. There was a Welsh Bible reading and a Shamanic poem. We shared Wine and Wiccan Bread to share our blessing with our family and friends. There were people at our celebration from many paths, Christians, Catholics, Wiccans, Druids, Buddhists and those of the Norse tradition; all were welcome.
We celebrate our first anniversary next month.
