Karen Handel wins Georgia special election, keeping the seat in Republican hands. Handel, the former Georgia secretary of state, beat Democrat Jon Ossoff in the special election runoff in Georgia's 6th District for the seat left open by former GOP congressman Tom Price, CNN and NBC reported late Tuesday. The Democrats spent an enormous amount of outside money on this race and still lost. They may have lost because of the outside money. Maybe they could find a person who actually lives in the district next time. Oh, and maybe one who espouses working man and women values… just a thought.
