Area 51 - Do You Believe? - Page 5

If Area 51 has nothing to do with aliens, why is the road parrelling called the "Extraterrestrial Highway?"

Something has to be "out of this world", for any road to be called that.

Moreover, the central Nevada portion of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest has been stripped clean of trees.

Why is it a national forest then?

Also, why can you tour the rest of the Nellis Air Force Base, an area the size of Connecticut and Rhode Island, albeit with permission, but a tiny speck called Area 51 is offlimits?

And what can the government be hiding there?

I mean everyone knows it's Groom Lake, it has a twelve mile runway, it has a 22 mile road called the Black Tank Road going toward it(yes, I did resarch biggrin.gif ), which begins at Nevada Route 375, the aforementioned "Extraterrestrial Highway"?

It's obviously a coverup, and everyone knows what the army is basicly doing.

So suspecting aliens is only natural.

So here is a question for you Yellowknife. Why does the unknown have to be the most outrageous explanation, aliens? Cannot the government be covering up something else?

Listen, stealth bombers and stealth fighters are well known now. But they were actually created nearly twenty-five years before common knowledge. The fact is that they were tested in secrecy, at night mostly, and triangular in shape when all was said and done. We have also seen footage of saucer testing. But we also know that saucers are a horrible flight design. Anything but a flying saucer could have been an alien vessel.

Next problem is that no alien action has ever been taken. Don't you suppose that if an alien race was sending spies or surveillance on our planet that they would notice if they were gone and do something about it? If they have the technology to send a space ship light years away, they could easily have gotten their people back.

The fact is that logically in every sense, something must be up with area fifty one. But logically, aliens is not only a very low percentage of possibility due to logistics, but because there is no evidence for it. I believe it exists and that it is for closed government testing, but I don't believe its aliens. Like Dulce Base, there is no real proof that aliens are in area fifty one. Anyone who says they worked their and have seen it is immediately suspect since they have no photographs and no one but conspiracy theorists seem to care. If real evidence existed, then someone would show it. Such like the Israeli nuclear program. The person that uncovered it had photo's from one visit inside the place, yet not one verified picture of area 51 has been taken. The only reason people say aliens is because the unknown makes people speculate. The more people speculate, the more fantastic it will become.

Well I am not being speculative, I am being extrapolative.

Look, anyone wonder why we know so much about "covert" military programs and so little about aliens?

And for the record from my personal experience at several conspiracy sites, I can tell you that people only believe them if you extrapolative.

Look, at Bob Lazar who started all this "Area 51 infilitrated by aliens" conversation, he's a real person who owns a somewhat successfully buisness, United Nuclear.

Why don't you go to it's website and find out.

You will find out that he claims to have worked on alien spacecraft and why would he own a company called "United Nuclear" if he didn't?

As I always tell people when it comes to conspiracy theories and religion, there are two sides to every story. This story is no different. Bob Lazar puts forth some highly believable information and a timeline that is rather convincing, that is, at least until its really looked into. Since someone should have already have done this, I started looking. I found the site that is its opposite. Its a site with a real physicist and everything. Here is the site:

https://www.serve.com/mahood/lazar/lazarmn.htm

Now you can draw your own conclusions obviously, but I have a few thoughts on what you said as to why he would say this if it wasn't true. First, see if you can recall the name Pierre Plantard. For those of you who don't know who he is, he is the man who started a story, including very real looking documents, about a secret society linked to the French Merovingian Kings call The Priory of Sion.

After being inexplicably link to the blood line of Jesus Christ, he admitted that the entire thing was a fraud. This was of course well after the smash book "The Holy Blood and The Holy Grail" sold millions. The entire idea of a holy blood line, at least the story given in the books and the movie, can be wholly proven false. Despite the numerous specials debunking the Da Vinci Code logic and facts, millions still believe it to have really happened that way. There are hundreds of sites put together that look very convincing if you don't do the research and know all the facts. And that is what has happened here.

Just because someone claims it doesn't make it true. And just because you haven't heard any secrets from area 51 means its any more an alien compound than before. In fact, do you know where they developed the stealth fighter? What about the intercontinental ballistic missile? Do you know where they developed all the biological weapons we have today? No, you don't because they aren't publicized locations. So one or all of those projects that were secret at one time could have been done at area 51. You don't know that every single military invention in the last twenty-five years wasn't developed and tested there. You can't ask why they haven't revealed what is at area 51 when they have revealed other secrets when you don't know what is at area 51 and thus don't know if its secrets have or haven't been released.

Thus we are back to the beginning. All you and any conspiracy theorists really know is that there is a base that you don't know what is going on there. There have been documents released saying that certain military projects went on there, only to have conspiracy theorists say it was a cover for the real story. The fact is that if believe that there are aliens there at area 51, you will think everything but aliens is a cover up or a lie. I'm sorry, there is NO evidence that there are aliens there, at least no credible evidence. Do your self a favor, read the site, its quite mind opening!

If this is true then it will open up even more believers to what other secrets might be hidden from us:

Secret FBI memo 'proves' govt. Covered up Roswell alien landing of 1947

The memo, titled 'Flying Saucers', was written by FBI agent Guy Hottel. The decades-old memo, which was published by the FBI in its 'Vault,' says "three so-called flying saucers had been recovered in New Mexico', citing an Air Force investigator. Ref. Source 9

Area 51 - Do You Believe?

Wow, this is just INCREDIBLE! A few important parts of the memo:

international QUOTE
The decades-old memo, which was published by the FBI in its 'Vault,' says "three so-called flying saucers had been recovered in New Mexico'

international QUOTE
Hottel says this about the flying saucer: "They were described as being circular in shape with raised centers, approximately 50 feet in diameter." "Each one was occupied by three bodies of human shape but only 3 feet tall."

international QUOTE
The bodies were "dressed in a metallic cloth of a very fine texture. Each body was bandaged in a manner similar to the blackout suits used by speed flyers and test pilots."

The article (and many other ones) talk about a single "flysaucer" being recovered however, in this memo mentions THREE flysaucers recovered. Also the usual articles about this case talk about THREE dead alien bodies recovered but in the memo talks about THREE dead aliens in EACH flysaucer.

Wow.

Do note however, this memo was written by an agent who is reporting a story *told to him by someone else* - it is NOT an *official* FBI report ON *their* secret dealings with UFOs. The document in question is also old news to some UFO buffs, and has been referenced in UFO investigator books years ago.

As for myself, I've no doubt something weird went on at the original Area 51, and I've seen TV stories and read even in Popular Mechanics I think it was, that it was split up and carted off to Utah and... Arizona maybe? The ground was found to be dangerously radioactive, due to the area being used for nuclear testing, and the isotopes from the underground tests were finally working their way back up into the surface soil, so the site had to be abandoned, according to my memory - the article writer for the magazine got a brief tour of at least an outlying part of the base, but I don't remember what was supposed to have happened to it after that.

But what about the UFOs and aliens? I used to be very much "into" that, and believed a lot of the weird stuff, and am still a moderator on a paranormal forum (I'm watching the chatroom right now in fact), but these days for me, it will take a really significant, objectively verifiable "revelation" to sway my view much or "wow" me.

I really don't know what to make of Area 51 but to me its just a highly classified military base where they test the latest technology. People just try to invent the UFO side for things they cannot understand when they see it.
