When I am writing, when would I use 'Bold'?

Yes, I personally think bold should be used only for heading and occasionally to emphasize certain words within body text.
I design ads and have found many clients want everything bolded. I understand that they pay a lot for the ads and want theirs to stand out from everyone elses on the page, but come on! When everyone elses ad is bold too, then the emphasis is lost.
Sometimes we bold everything and the ad rep will come back and say "Can you make this a more bolder bold?" 
Believe it or not, some even want a bold/italics/underline/!/all caps combo when just bold isn't enough. Sometimes I think they really want a car dealer or monster truck rally radio commercial, but in paper form. (FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY! SIZZLING SUMMER SALE! THESE HOT HOT HOT DEALS WONT LAST LONG, SO HURRY IN TODAY!)
