Vincent D'onofrio

Vincent D'Onofrio at present, plays Detective 'Bobby Goren' in Criminal Intent-- sometimes listed as Law and Order Criminal intent.

He plays the character of the Detective, who has little quirks and mannerisms, and a brilliant mind to solve the murders.

I have watched these series from the beginning, and I also think he is quite sexy, without even trying to be!

He was also in the movie full metal jacket, as the soldier who committed suicide (although he had to pile the weight on to take up this part), and he starred in 'Fires within', amongst many others, a great all round actor, in my opinion.

Ahh yes, the bug from Men in Black! I did not recognize the name when I saw it, so had to do an IMDB search on him. I've watched Criminal Intent a few times, and I agree he does make the show interesting with his quirks. He was also the mean guy in 'The Cell' with Jennifer Lopez. His acting ability is top shelf, as can be seen in all the roles he has played. He even played a love sick young man in Mystic Pizza, one of Julia Roberts' first movies. Very good actor!

Vincent D'onofrio always plays some weird characters. He himself is a little odd, not quite normal if you know what I mean. His character on CI is the same way. However, I still like it because he comes up with clever ways to solve crimes, methods that are not typically seen on crime shows. He really reinvents his character on this show.
