Comments: Besides the comment made by Mark1616 I don't know any other references in the Bible that actually says what Lucifer looks like. He has been described as an angel of light so the red devil thing is all a myth just symbolic of his inner nature.

Like Satan What Is

It may be in part due to one of the more popular pagan gods being horned like the images of satan. That particular god is also believed to be the god of the underworld. I think the image comes from old stories and legends from previous religions before christianity.

Luicer (in theory) was indeed one of god's angels who fell from the top. Therefore I doubt he looked any different than a human. (possibly an exception for wings?)

I think Satan has many faces. This one is the most commercial and (if he exists) most perverse. Satan perhaps should look like this, but evil takes many guises.

Who can best answer that than those who've seen him, and if you've seen him then I will be worried for you because it means you are doing something really right or really wrong. In any case, what he looks like I hope never to see because I want to be with my Lord in heaven.
