Cindy Williams, star of 'Laverne & Shirley,' dies at 75. Williams, who played Shirley opposite Penny Marshall's Laverne on the popular sitcom, has died. Her family said in a statement Monday that she died in Los Angeles on Jan. 25 after a brief illness. Source 7p.
