Thanks KNtoran, I appreciate it greatly that you are at least willing to consider joining even if it isn't a setting you would normally consider. Take whatever time you need.

Sir Thomaslee, someone such as thyself will be well versed in the comings and goings of a medieval town. As such I beseech thee to take up they calling: Begin.

Introduction Thomaslee

JB, do you still play your own games here on International Discussions?

I remembers years ago I played a couple of the games you programmed, but where I struggled to get to first place or just do well as soon as I started getting excited with how I was doing you seemed to swoop in and show just how much better you were at them.

I mean sure, you programmed the games and thus it makes sense you know things others have to figure out themselves, but it was still frustrating at times.

Play no, I only code now.

You have me at lost. The only games I fully coded here are Plugged (Matrix), Cozyville and a couple of others that have since been removed. In all of those I coded them, not play them.

You may need to elaborate but if you are talking about the old WW II and Emperor of Asia Text MORPGs then I didn't code those so I was playing just as any other Player at the time.

ROK II is different to those and I am not a Player there, I only code it. You will have to go in to see what it is like.

It was more of the text and numbers games, one in particular that comes to mond was a Book of Mormon game where you picked between the Nephites, Lamanites, and Gadianton robbers. I believe there was also a science fiction one.

Ah, you mean this: Mormon Battles Role-playing Game Wins? That was many years ago and I did not code those. I bought the script and modified it with graphics and text to fit various themes with the BOM being one of those themes.

ROK II is not like that. ROK II is just like playing a tabletop game of Dungeons & Dragons but in Text form. There is no intervention from the Dungeon Master and you grow and go at your own pace. Give it a try and see, then you can give feedback here: ROK II Support & FAQ about your likes and dislikes.

So, if your worry is that I will swoop in and stop your Character's progression or stop you from winning then you have nothing to worry about. wink.gif.
