Starting Monday I will be working at Alorica in Magna making $10.50 an hour and with a 40 hour week.

Yes, getting my laptop back will be very important and with this new job is something I'll be able to do sometime next month, hopefully the beginning of the month.

Though I admit, I'm a little worried about when I'll get my first check as someone at the Deseret Industries said I might have to wait for three weeks and that would kind of make things really difficult for me.

If it was a reference employment through Deseret Industries, then yes three weeks is right. Most businesses pay bi-weekly, with the pay check coming at the end of the third week of employment. This would mean every odd week of employment would be when you would get paid. Be Patient. Work Hard.

Alorica contacted me after finding my résumé on LDS Job Services so I'm not so sure on that. I mean sure, having $840 every two weeks would be nice but a weekly paycheck would be much preferred.

Just split the paycheck into 420 a week and then you can feel like you are getting paid every week.
