What do you think is the cause for the recent number of crimes and successful escape of criminals from custody in the Chagunas, Trinidad area?

Criminals of today have become more arrogant in their actions. One would think that being in police custody would render you helpless to do anything, but with the Chagunas police station the opposite is true, with what seems to be a lack of urgency and competency in executing their job. What I would like to see is a followup of this case so as to know what happened with the police officers on duty that night.
