ahhh the lotus elise! a quality british car :-)  i have to say I didn't think it was available over in USA/canada due to various tests and lotus couldn't quite afford to get it passed. I heard a few people have done modifications and got them imported, but overall I would think it is a rare car over there? Am I right?  I am jealous of all the other cars you guys have posted above, it would cost us a fortune in petrol to run them beasts with our prices!!  For now I'll have to put up with my land rover and dream of a nice classic vw beetle. (One day, i dream to myself, one day!!) :-)

I agree about the classic VW Beetle.  I love the older classic cars compared to some (not all) the suped up remakes of them.  Good luck with getting that classic VW Beetle.  :)

That fastback mustang brought back some memories for me!  One of my girlfriends in high school had a 1968 fastback blue just like that picture.  We used to tear up the streets in it too!  It had big fat slick tires in back so I always had to ride in the back because I was one of the lightest in the group and she was always worried about the tires rubbing the wheel wells when we went over bumps.   smile.gif  Had an 8-track tape deck she put in it too!  We were just so cool in those days.

Later I owned a 67 straight 6 powder blue, but it truly was a clunker.  I used to have to crawl underneath to un-cross the bars running from the shifter to the transmission.  It would get stuck when parked and you couldn't move the shifter from in the car until you un-crossed the bars.  It was a fun car though.

Aye lad, thats a nice car.  Very nice, and for a not bad price as well.  Sadly, my piece of crap  Pontiac Vibe is relatively the same price as that beauty....

I would definately tint all the windows if i could, and get it a blackish purple color.  It could have a better spoiler in my opinion, but its not bad.
