ALBERTA CLOSES TRAILS TO KEEP PEOPLE AWAY FROM BEARS
Alberta will close a number of hiking trails around Canmore and the Bow Valley to try to separate bears and people, a month after a grizzly killed a woman who was jogging in the area.

I have been reading articles for years about people and bears mixing and getting to close. People just don't understand that just because a bear will eat what you feed it, doesn't mean it is tame. Bears are wild animals, and these type of accidents are going to happen if people insist on being near wild animals and not using the proper precautions. I understand the jogging part, but why would you ever allow jogging in an area KNOWN for bear activity? It was just asking for someone to get hurt, thats not common sense.
