DVD not working? Give it a wipe

My mate Ross is a fellow movie buff and he recently bought a film he'd been chasing for months through an Italian website, a delightfully quirky and original tale about Beethoven's ninth symphony called Lezione Ventuno, or Lesson 21. Ref. Source 9

I have not had a faulty DVD player in my midst for a long time, but when I did they were new on the market and did give a lot of trouble. I found cleaning the discs made a difference also cleaning the lens, but I can tell you when you get read troubles it usually means your DVD player is dying a slow death.

Dvd Not Working Reviews Consumer & Travel Family Culture

Most of the time when I have a problem with a DVD not working it is because it is dirty. We only have problems with rented DVDs and no problem with our home collection.
