Palestine Statehood Who Is Right? Should Palestine be its own soverign nation state? Why is the USA attempt to block this from happening? Is Israel using an apartheid system much like South Africa did where people are segregated into undesirable areas and become unable to access the basic necessities of life? Does Israel have a point that they have major security challenges against those trying to harm them? How can this be resolved or will it ever? Will there be a Palestine state?

guitarist.gif Really, after reading things like this I feel like making a musical number. I mean, how many times have we heard one thing and then another action takes place. Okay, so they get statehood, and then what? Does the fighting stop? No, will it just enable them to have a full fledge military - yes, and that I believe is what they are really looking for so that Israel cannot cross their borders whenever they feel like.

The big problem is this will now enable a full war... that is why there is such a long delay in my opinion.

Normally I will give Israel the benefit of the doubt, but on this one I really cannot understand the purpose. Why would you target a beach full of people with their family and children (directly or indirectly they were close enough that harm could be done even if that was not their intention).

I also notice on the part of Israel that they do not apologize for the lost of the innocent when a military execution goes wrong.

This is tragic on a number of different levels. The loss of innocent life, first, and then the horrendous memories burned into the minds of the children who survived. They will hate Israel forever. And, finally, the killings in Israel will begin again intensely. It's a terrible thing.
