Palestine Statehood Who Is Right? Should Palestine be its own soverign nation state? Why is the USA attempt to block this from happening? Is Israel using an apartheid system much like South Africa did where people are segregated into undesirable areas and become unable to access the basic necessities of life? Does Israel have a point that they have major security challenges against those trying to harm them? How can this be resolved or will it ever? Will there be a Palestine state?

QUOTE
There are many moderate and wise ones in the Arab world too.

I think they are starting to get that picture, but I am not sure how well they will do something about it.

Can't Arafat get a long with anyone? Hmmm... or maybe it's that   his subordinates are getting tired of his iron hand?

From Deseret News:

ABBAS AND ARAFAT END STANDOFF
Prime Minister-designate Mahmoud Abbas presented a new Cabinet to Yasser Arafat,
ending a dayslong standoff with the Palestinian leader over its composition,
officials said today, and keeping a U.S.-backed peace plan on track.

If you notice, there is always a trend in these killings. They use young people (minds that can be easily influenced) and their present siege by Israel as a 'reason' to justify murder.

From CNN:

A Palestinian teenager blew himself up outside Kfar Saba's new train station
early Thursday, killing an Israeli security guard who prevented him from
entering the station, and injuring 14 other people.

I believe the younger Palestinians are getting very tired of Arafat.
They see a possibility here, now that the US has directly stated they will put pressure on Israel to get the issue resolved.

Terrorist: Let's let them know who is in control here.

From CNN:

MILITANTS: ATTACK A MESSAGE

Palestinian militant groups said they carried out a deadly suicide attack
early Wednesday -- killing three Israeli civilians -- partly to send a message
to Abu Mazen before he takes office as the Palestinian prime minister.

It seems to me that Palestine cannot control their rebels, either because they do not want to or they just do not know how to.

From CNN:

ISRAEL CLOSES WEST BANK

The Mideast peace process appears on hold after a weekend of suicide bombings
killed nine Israelis and prompted the Israeli military to close off the West
Bank.

Palestine vs. Israel

I fear the can of worms have now been opened.
Looks like the terrorist organizations have now despatched their suicide bombers out to God knows where, to kill and maim.
So now we see the storm? Was the quietness during the Iraq war the calm before the storm?
I pray that the leaders of all organizations, nations, groups, etc., come to their senses and humanity before this things spiral out of control.
Heck, my first baby is just due to come to this world next month ..... and the world is already such an unsafe place for him!!!  :(

Well you see this is the thing about terrorists, they work like snipers; unseen and hit without giving a chance to defend. It will be hard to stop indeed. It is obvious that the Palestinians are not ever going to have peace because they seem to like this 'mode' of operation.
