Texan, I do not think this can be considered how war is, it is not average or normal. There is no other place in the world I can think of that regularly uses the army to quell attacks from within their borders unless there is an all out civil war. That's the thing with this conflict, no one considers it a civil war or even war between nations but in the offensive the Israelis treat it as such.
Delta Air Lines suspended flights to Israel's main international airport today because of reports about a nearby rocket attack, the company said.
Citing "Reports of a rocket or associated debris" Near Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv, Delta said it suspended service between its hub in New York and Tel Aviv "To ensure the safety and security of our customers and employees."
One immediate effect: Flight 469, which left New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport with 273 passengers, was diverted today to Paris' Charles de Gaulle Airport instead of heading to Tel Aviv as scheduled, the airline said.

At least 15 people were killed and more than 200 injured in a strike in Gaza that hit a U.N. School providing shelter for those who fled their homes, a Palestinian Health Ministry spokesman said.
The Palestinian government says the strike on the shelter was the result of "Brutal aggression" By Israel. A U.N. Official in Gaza said he is "Not saying that either side is responsible."
Israel Defense Forces told CNN the strike is under investigation and that a rocket fired from Gaza may have hit the building. "In the course of the afternoon, several rockets launched by Hamas from within the Gaza Strip landed in the Beit Hanoun area," The IDF said. Ref. CNN
