I want to think of the most positive intentions behind this... but it is hard for me. I want to know how Sharon's hand is being tied or payed off to suddenly be an advocate for Palestine. I know if it were the US there they would have obliterated Palestine because they do accept any kind of sucidal bombers roaming their streets.
SHARON AGAINST 'OCCUPATION'
Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon appears to be urging Israelis to accept
giving up land for peace and advocating an end to what he called "occupation."

Well after the whole peace process Arafat as usual has to stick his big black boot in it! :
From USAToday:
Israeli, Palestinian summit postponed
--------------------------------------------------
WASHINGTON — A message from Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat that he,
not his new prime minister, is in charge of peace talks with Israel has
thrown a planned Israeli-Palestinian summit into confusion. Palestinians
initially postponed the meeting between Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister
Ariel Sharon, set for Wednesday. The meeting will most likely take place
Thursday.
I have to admit JB that your poll has too many non conflicting points, and I would have voted more than once, let me tell you what I would say about each point individually:
1. I would vote no for palestine being a terrorist country because legally there never has been a country called Palestine
2. I would vote no to saying that palestinians should stop asking for independence because they like the rest of us have a right to voice their own political views
3. I would vote yes, that palestine should be independent, however I could only hope that peace would be established then, however from reading the scriptures it is clear that their will be no peace till the Prince of Peace comes to rule over Israel and the world
4. Palestinians should defenitly get rid of Arafat, and while we are at it they should expose all of their terrorist connections and point out the fact that most of the time their terrorist activities have been sponsored by Saddam's Iraq and Syria along with other Islamic fundy countries.
5. Israel does not need to listen to Arafat, Arafat is the founder of modern terrorism and I find it embarrising that our former president (Clinton) ever made American's think otherwise
6. I would vote yes, that Israel should defend at all cost, however I would be blunt to say that America should get more involved in also defending Israel.
7. Israel is not a terrorist country, I think people should read the Bible and the facts before coming to such a conclusion.
8. I like Sharon, but Israel really needs to go back to its original leadership, that is the Priesthood of God.
9. The world is always going to look at the situation in Israel because we like to see prophecy fulfilled
10. I obviously have an opinion.

You said Israel is not a terrorist country but you need to accept that they kill palestinians too! or what you're saying is that only Palestinians are the ones killing israelities?. BOTH sides like blood and do not want peace in my opinion.
I accept that they kill palestinians after they are attacked by suicide bombers. Keep in mind, if Israel is attacked it is not a nation known for "turning the other cheek" if you catch my drift.
"Do you know what you like? I want to ask you something. Are you of Jewish heritage (an no I am not talking Church related)?"
Yes. But that does not determine my point of view. My point of view is simply this, I saw two towers and a Pentagon get attacked, I had grandparents worried I would get drafted into a war, they thought it would be armaggedon. I watched the news in Israel while all the sudden an explosion happend, and then another. It is of no significance that I have been asked about my Jewish roots every time I present an opinion regarding Palestine, or Iraq. Like I said before, if you have a pro Bush pro war with Iraq attitude, you get accused of being "Jewish" even if you are not. I have jewish heritage that goes way back just like you, just like probably many of the Palestinians if they ever did their genealogy.
You take my comments to personal, my remarks about the poll had nothing to do with me being bias, it has to do with the fact that there are too many questions that can be answered yes, that is all I am talking about.
"Palestine for instance is not a country because Israel says so?"
Palestine is not a country because it has not been formally organized as a country, just a region. That is why there is talk now about making it into an independent state in the near future. If it was already a country the issue would be a mute point. There is no bias standpoint, the west bank for example never was Palestine, before it was under israely occupation it belongs to transjordan (now simply called Jordan)
There was never a country called Palestine, that is why there is talk about organizing one. It is not a matter of opinion it is a matter of fact.
