Israel is targeting CHILDREN and people need to SEE that! I was reading the news of a Catholic priest in Gaza who is staying at his chapel with handicapped children and women with babies and the situation is beyond desperate. There is no clean water, people are drinking contaminated water from trash and blood.
And my country, the USA, is supporting such atrocity. I am ashamed to be American.
Israel bombs Gaza ambulance as Friday death toll surpasses 100:
An Israeli airstrike hit an ambulance and killed a paramedic Friday. The deaths bring the total in Israel's assault to more than 1,600 as well as nearly 9,000 injured, Ref. Source 4
And to think, it all could have been avoided - all of it - had Hamas not murdered 3 teenage boys going home from school. Seems rather pointless doesnt it?

Up and until July, there was no retaliation for any of the 181 rockets and nearly 20 mortars - except one (Which did kill 1 Palestinian). If any country would targeted and attempted to launch this many weapons at US soil, would the number have been so high? Would they have gotten to 181? I seriously doubt it.
Rockets/Mortars shot at Israel over the last few years:
2014 (YTD) 3055 (Almost 3000 in July)
2013: 52 (Year of peace after last cease fire
2012: 2221
2011: 419
2010: 369
2009: 858
2008: 3103
2007: 2807
Intestingly, the number has switched from a majority of mortars (Very limited range) to rockets over this time span. In every case through these years, when the missile attacks became to be too much or any one single incident (Like the teens being killed) required retailation, Israel has responded with very decisive strength and the results have been disproportionate. Do the people that provoke these attacks deserve any responsibility for the results? I easily see fault from both sides, but I do see a willing partner for peace in Israel as they have been able to achieve it with Jordan and Egypt. They were close with Syria but I suspect that is gone now. So firing over 10000 rockets and mortars hasnt worked, why not give peace a shot. That would mean also the aborting of the proclaimation that you intend to wipe Israel from the map...partnerships don't work that way.
Lancet: a Home for Evil's Useful Idiots
Two weeks ago, the British medical journal, Lancet, considered to be one of the world's leading medical publications, published "An open letter for the people in Gaza." Signed by four European doctors on behalf of 20 others (17 from Italy and three from the United Kingdom), the letter had virtually nothing to do with medicine. Rather, it was a grotesque attack on Israel. Some excerpts: "We ask our colleagues, old and young professionals, to denounce this Israeli aggression." "Israel's behaviour has insulted our humanity, intelligence, and dignity as... Ref. Source 4
