Is there a difference between you living with your parents or your parents living with you when you are both under the same roof living together?

Or You Living Parents

Maybe its all about who pays the bills and owns the home. I think if your parents are with you then you will see them trying to tell you what to do like a child.

I believe that it has to do with whos name is on the house. IF my parents came to live with me in my house then I would be the one telling them what is going on and helping them get all that they need. I know as your parents get older you eventually have to take care of them. I know I am getting closer and closer to that date as my parents live about a mile from me.

As the guys have said it depends on who pays the bills, who owns the house and things like that technically.

However I think there is situations where it could be considered "parents living with you" for example if it is the family home you grew up in and as you have got older and your parents have retired or something you have become the main person about the house and are the one cleaning and taking care of general needs, so even though your parents own the house and pay for it, they are living with you.


But I think it really should not matter, I live with my parents they are still working and I am 21, so I suppose I am living with them. But I pull my weight and pay my way and buy my own things so it never really comes up.
